Indian police arrest Mirwaiz, Yasin Malik during protest march in Srinagar
Srinagar: In involved Kashmir, Indian police captured the Chairman of Hurriyat gathering, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, and the Chief of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik after they attempted to lead a walk towards Indian armed force home office in Badami Bagh, Srinagar, on Monday.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq was captured after he opposed his home capture and endeavored to walk towards Badami Bagh armed force base in Srinagar as a sign of challenge against the non military personnel killings by Indian troops in Pulwama on Saturday.
As Mirwaiz left his Nigeen living arrangement and attempted to walk alongside many his supporters towards the Badami Bagh base, a police unexpected sent close to his home impeded the walk and kept the Mirwaiz and his supporters.
Muhammad Yasin Malik, who had gone underground to dodge capture, was additionally confined when he took out the walk from Gaw Kadal zone of Srinagar alongside his supporters. As he came to Budshah Bridge, police swung energetically and captured him alongside a large number of his supporters.
The dissidents said that police discharged nerve gas shells to thwart the challenge.
Require the walk towards the military central command was given by the Joint Resistance Leadership against the slaughter of around twelve Kashmiri youth by Indian powers in Pulwama on Saturday.
